Want to try out a violin lesson? Make an appointment for a free trial lesson! No need to bring a violin to the trial lesson. Maria can provide violins in different sizes to try.
6 weeks trial lessons
Need more time to try if you want to learn the violin? You can take 6 lessons with an instrument from Maria. If you want to continue the lessons, you can rent an instrument from a violin maker.
Starting and ending lessons
You can start lessons any time in a school year. You can end lessons with a notice period of one month.
Jongerencultuurfonds Amsterdam
Parents with an income below 120% of minimum income can apply once a year for a partial grant from Jongerencultuurfonds Amsterdam and also a rental instrument. Look for more information on www.jongerencultuurfonds.nl
School year
Maria teaches 40 lessons per school year. There are no lessons for children during the vacation period of the primary schools. During vacations it is possible to have lessons by appointment..
Make up for missed lessons
If you are unable to attend a lesson, and announce this more than 24 hours in advance, you can reschedule within the current half-year. To ensure regularity and good progress it is not possible to transfer missed lessons to the next school year.
Location and class days
On Tuesdays and Thursdays the lessons take place at Muziekacademie Tussen de Bogen, Tussen de Bogen 15, 1013 JB Amsterdam. On other weekdays Maria teaches at the students’ homes. The Muziekacademie Tussen de Bogen is a large studio with a grand piano. You can access the studio directly from the street and there is plenty of room to keep distance if necessary.uden.
