Maria Möckel graduated as violin/viola teacher at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt/Main and continued her studies in the Netherlands (performing degree) with Misha Geller and Esther Apituley. As violin/viola and string ensemble teacher she worked at music schools in Germany and the Netherlands. From 2007 on she teaches privately at Muziekacademie Tussen de Bogen.
